“Absolutely. I really enjoy watching movies because they give me a chance to relax and escape from my daily routine. Question 2: What kind of movies do you like?

“I’m quite into comedies and dramas. I usually watch comedies when I just want to relax and have a good laugh, while dramas are more appealing when I’m in the mood for something thought-provoking. I also don’t mind watching action films occasionally, especially if they have a strong storyline.”

Question 3: How often do you watch movies?

“I watch movies fairly regularly, although it depends on how busy I am. On weekdays, I usually only have time for a short episode of a TV series, but I try to watch a full-length movie at the weekend. If I find a film with a gripping storyline or a memorable performance, I can easily get absorbed in it and watch it from start to finish. For me, watching a movie is a good way to unwind after a long week and escape from reality.”

Question 4: Do you prefer watching movies at home or at the cinema?

“I’d probably choose watching movies at home because it’s much more convenient. I can pause the movie whenever I want, and I don’t have to deal with crowds or expensive snacks. That said, I think some blockbuster films are definitely worth watching on the big screen because the sound and visual effects are much more impressive.”

Sample Answer:

I’d like to talk about a movie called The Pursuit of Happyness, which is one of the films that has had quite a strong emotional impact on me.

I watched it at home a few years ago after one of my friends recommended it. I didn’t know much about the movie beforehand, so I wasn’t expecting it to be particularly memorable. However, once I started watching it, I quickly became interested in the story.

The movie is about a man who goes through a really difficult period in his life while trying to build a better future for himself and his young son. He faces financial problems, struggles to find stable work, and has to deal with a lot of uncertainty. Despite all these difficulties, he keeps trying rather than giving up. I found the relationship between the father and son particularly touching because they support each other throughout the story.

What I enjoyed most about the movie was its message. It showed me that success doesn’t usually happen overnight and that people sometimes have to go through difficult periods before things get better. I also thought the main character gave a memorable performance, which made the story bring a story to life and feel realistic and emotional.

Overall, I’d say it was a very thought-provoking film. It wasn’t just entertaining; it also made me reflect on perseverance and the importance of staying hopeful when life doesn’t go according to plan. I’d definitely recommend it to people who enjoy realistic and emotionally meaningful movies.

Question 2: Do you think people watch too many movies nowadays?

“To some extent, yes. Streaming platforms have made movies much easier to access, so people can watch them whenever they want. Some viewers may spend several hours watching films or series without realising how much time has passed. However, I don’t think watching movies is necessarily a problem as long as people can balance entertainment with work, study, and other responsibilities.”

Question 3: Do you think movies can influence people’s behaviour?

“Yes, I think they can, especially when viewers strongly relate to the characters or the story. Movies can shape people’s attitudes towards relationships, lifestyles, or social issues by presenting certain ideas in an emotional and memorable way. However, I think the influence depends on the individual because most people can distinguish between fiction and real life. In general, movies are more likely to influence people when the message feels realistic and relevant to their own experiences.”
