ECE IELTS TEACHER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Full-time / Part-time IELTS Teacher
Department	Academic Department – Product Division
Work Location: ECE Center branches
Reports to: Head of Academic Department

JOB CONTENT

Teaching Activities

Deliver IELTS preparation courses (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) across the following levels:
- Foundation Level: 0 – 3.0 / 3.0 – 4.0
- Basic Level: 4.0 – 5.0
- Intermediate Level: 5.0 – 6.0
- Hi-Intermediate Level: 6.0 – 6.5
- Advanced Level: 6.5 – 7.0+
Maintain high pedagogical standards and language proficiency; take full responsibility for the accuracy of information provided to students and parents.
Design lessons based on the center’s curriculum and deliver instruction as required. Demonstrate a deep understanding of IELTS materials across various topics, possess an extensive vocabulary, and have a strong grasp of academic English. Explain complex grammar and usage nuances clearly to help students understand subtle differences in language choices.
Assign homework with clear instructions and provide detailed submission procedures for students.
Grade and return student assignments/tests within the center’s specified deadlines.

Classroom Administration

Provide feedback and guidance to improve students’ language proficiency according to course requirements.
Address inquiries from students and parents regarding classroom learning.
Coordinate with relevant departments and personnel as needed.

Other Requirements

Assist with grading placement tests using the existing system (5 tests/month for full-time teachers).
Contribute ideas for the development of ECE’s SAT curriculum.

– Request necessary resources and working conditions from management to fulfill duties.

– Monitor and ensure internal administrative processes are followed according to regulations.

– Exercise other authorities delegated by management on a case-by-case basis.

3	Language / IT Skills	– Minimum IELTS 8.0, with no band score below 7.0 – Strong office IT skills; proficient in Google Drive tools

5	Experience	Priority given to candidates with at least 3 years of IELTS teaching experience in a center environment, capable of teaching various levels and student profiles. Experience living abroad is a plus.
7	Other requirements	Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; patient and enthusiastic.

Highly competitive hourly rate for full-time positions, ranging from 345,000 – 550,000 VND/hour (including bonuses, potential earnings from 400,000 to 650,000 VND/hour).
