IELTS Speaking Forecast Q4 2026 (September – December)

The IELTS Speaking exam transitions into Quarter 4 (running from September through the end of December) following the annual question rotation cycle of IDP and the British Council. Typically, about 40–50% of topics from the previous quarter are retained, combined with new topics and re-introduced classics.

The following IELTS Speaking Q4/2026 prediction set from ECE Language Center has been curated to remove duplicates, standardize Part 1, 2, & 3 questions, and include updated topics reflecting contemporary life (Artificial Intelligence, cashless payments, digitalization trends, and urban environments). IELTS Speaking Exam Structure Q4/2026

The IELTS Speaking test lasts 11–14 minutes and consists of three parts:

  • Part 1 (4–5 minutes): Introduction and short questions regarding your personal life, habits, and familiar interests.

  • Part 2 (3–4 minutes): You will receive a Cue Card, have 1 minute to prepare notes, and up to 2 minutes for a monologue presentation.

  • Part 3 (4–5 minutes): A two-way in-depth discussion with the examiner on social aspects and abstract concepts related to the Part 2 topic.
