Huge congratulations to Nguyen Hieu Vy (Marie Curie High School) from class IA98 for her stellar achievement, joining the ECE Hall of Fame with an impressive 8.0 IELTS Overall score! She scored 8.5 in Reading, 8.0 in Listening, 7.0 in Writing, and 8.0 in Speaking.

Let’s hear from Hieu Vy about how her journey at ECE helped her hit that 8.0 target!

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the center, my teachers, and the teaching assistants for their dedicated support throughout my time at ECE.

Specifically for Speaking, I improved from a 6.5 to an 8.0. I found ECE’s approach quite different from other centers; instead of just cramming vocabulary, they focused on teaching me how to structure and develop my ideas during my responses.

My teachers were incredibly attentive, correcting every small mistake and guiding me on how to speak naturally. I believe this is why I achieved such a high score, even without using overly complex vocabulary. As for the materials, the center provided plenty of practice tests and detailed forecasts, which helped me study intensively and gather plenty of ideas for the Speaking section.”
